Though this role might not be feasible for every pet, we have seen a good number of dog ring bearers! Lemon, the Golden Retriever pictured below, did an amazing job delivering the rings to the couple during ceremony. Having your pet incorporated in your ceremony (if your venue allows it), is not only adorable, but extremely special. It’s a moment you’ll both remember furever <3
Pre-Ceremony Pet Photos
If your pet is one of those that would not…excel…at being the ring bearer, consider having them come for a short time before ceremony to take photos. This is a perfect way to still include your dog, but with less stress over little details. It also can double as a stress-reliever before ceremony. Giving your dog a quick cuddle if you’re getting some nervous jitters can help you feel ready to walk down the aisle! These mini, customizable dogs are a huge trend that we are loving. We’ve also seen cats, too! Posed as if taking a bite out of the cake, these figurines add an extra special and comedic touch which complements the elegant nature of the cake itself. Websites like Etsy make it super easy to get a customized dog topper by giving you a real artist who will craft the piece themselves based off of your reference photo.
