In May we had the pleasure of hosting Casey Hendrickson’s photography workshop on the styling and photographing of styled shoots. We worked with Casey before for the Marsala Wedding Inspiration Styled Shoot last year and couldn’t wait to see what she would come up with for the styled shoot workshop. It was such a pleasure having many photographers come in and get different angles, new perspectives, and great photos at this shoot. Casey worked with Roshel Events and Carolina’s Luxury Event Rentals to create a perfect theme with our historical venue- Mint and Rose Gold Wedding.
Rose Gold has been one of our favorite colors to see in the Mansion for several reasons. First of all, we always love any homage to our Venue’s 1920’s era. During this era (when Separk Mansion was built) rose gold’s distinctive reputation soared and became the preferred choice for jewelry pieces. Secondly, it takes the alloying of two metals to create rose gold: gold and copper. When blended together, they make a gorgeous pink hue that’s not only romantic, but also symbolic of the merging of your lives. And lastly, on-trend for 2015 but also a classic, the blush tones of a rose gold wedding will be warm, inviting, and nothing short of breathtaking.
